Job description

The Release Train Architect provides technical leadership and guidance to a value-oriented release train comprised of multiple delivery teams. As part of the Release Train Leadership Team, the Release Train Architect collaborates with engineering, product, and business leaders to define and promote the architectural direction and future vision of the release train.

Skills and Experience:
  1. Strong collaboration skills with engineering, product, and business leaders.
  2. Ability to develop and evangelize architecture practices through artifacts like roadmaps and diagrams.
  3. Experience in identifying technical risks and debt, with transparent communication and mitigation strategies.
  4. Continuous learning to stay current with relevant technologies.
  5. Experience leveraging AWS, Gen AI, and other scalable, cost-effective solutions.
  6. Ability to share learnings and promote collective knowledge.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's/Ph.D. with fewer years in full development lifecycle and architecture services.
  2. At least 3 years of experience with AWS.
  3. Leadership and influencing experience.
  4. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, Python.
  5. Experience in enterprise agile environments and large-scale IT architecture.
  6. Knowledge of automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud computing.
  7. Understanding of consumer web solutions, distributed systems, and cloud platforms.
  8. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies.
  9. Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with no-code/low-code platforms like Salesforce.
  2. Knowledge of ERP systems and integration patterns, especially NextWorld.
  3. Ability to differentiate use cases for no-code/low-code vs. custom development.
  4. Experience with B2B integrations.
