Job summary

Jobtailor in New Jersey seeks a senior technologist to design and deliver Middle Office solutions. You will collaborate with IT leadership and Business Unit Leaders to develop strategic roadmaps and coordinate responses to critical issues, while overseeing full delivery life cycles.

The candidate will liaise with Leveraged Finance teams to document technical design, maintain day-to-day portal application operations, and serve as a technical SME for design issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of buy/sell side experience at Hedge Fund/Investment Manager.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, AWS, SQL, Unix, and middleware technologies.
• Hands-on with web frameworks such as Angular, Spring Boot, React, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation scripting (Python).

Responsibilities

• Design and development of solutions supporting Middle Office Technology functions.
• Collaborate with IT Leadership and Business Unit Leaders to develop strategic roadmaps.
• Coordinate responses when critical issues arise that affect the business.
• Oversee the full life cycle of the delivery of solutions.
• Liaise with Leveraged Finance teams to generate Technical Design.
• Maintain day-to-day operations of portal applications with business/operations.
• Act as a Technical SME and escalation point for design issues.
