Job summary

LHH is seeking a Lead Senior Accountant in Dallas, TX to own full-cycle accounting and monthly financial reporting for two operating companies. You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and ERP-driven processes while partnering with operations to improve controls and accuracy.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting, 5+ years of progressive experience, advanced Excel, and strong communication skills. Competitive salary with bonus potential and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and ability to translate cash-basis to accrual.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee daily AP/AR workflow and drive timely collections.
• Maintain a clean general ledger and balance-sheet schedules.
• Monitor ERP activity across production, inventory, and purchasing.
• Collaborate with Operations on inventory counts and monthly reviews.
• Supervise and develop an AP/AR clerk.
• Uphold internal controls and audit readiness.
