Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Scientist I – Analytical Chemist with LCMS/MS expertise to support ADME/DMPK projects in contract research services. The position requires hands-on analytical work, development and validation of LC-MS methods, data QC, and adherence to GMP/GxP and regulatory guidelines in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. with 5+ years LCMS/MS industry lab experience.
• M.S. with 3+ years LCMS/MS industry lab experience.
• Ph.D. with 1+ year LCMS/MS lab experience.
• Direct LCMS/LC-UV experience in CRO or industry lab for ADME/DMPK.
• Experience with Quality Management System.
• Mass spectrometry-based quantification for ADME/DMPK in biological matrices.
• Method development and optimization.
• Validation of bioanalytical methods per FDA/ICH guidelines.
• Liquid handling, automation, SPE, HTS, large-scale screening.
• Leadership of small teams and project management.

Responsibilities

• Performs work in a laboratory setting following lab protocols.
• Develops LC-MS methods for ADME/DMPK applications.
• Maintains and troubleshoots LC-MS and HPLC instruments.
• Prepares and manages buffers, reagents, and finished goods.
• Provides solutions to complex problems and drives process improvements.
• Maintains high data quality and reproducibility.
• Performs data and report QC, supports study director as needed.
• Takes ownership of client projects with minimal supervision.
• Supports validation of new methods and expansion of service lines.
• Complies with GxP requirements and 100% safety training.

Education

B.S. with minimum 5 years of industry laboratory experience with LCMS/MS

M.S. with minimum 3 years of industry laboratory experience with LCMS/MS

Ph.D. with minimum 1 year of laboratory experience with LCMS/MS
