We’re seeking our first Senior Counsel to build and lead the company’s legal function from the ground up. Reporting directly to the founder, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to Sales and leadership, helping close high-value enterprise deals while navigating the evolving legal landscape of voice AI.
This is an opportunity to do more than manage contracts. You’ll help establish the legal foundation for a rapidly scaling AI company and influence how emerging voice AI technologies are used responsibly.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Enterprise Deals Forward: Lead the negotiation and execution of complex commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and order forms.
- Build the Legal Function: Develop contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and turnaround standards that enable Sales to move quickly and efficiently.
- Shape Voice AI Legal Strategy: Advise on call recording consent, TCPA compliance, AI disclosure requirements, outbound calling regulations, and customer use-case reviews.
- Own Privacy & Compliance: Guide the company through evolving privacy and AI regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and the EU AI Act.
- Partner Across the Business: Work directly with the founder, Sales, and other teams to balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Manage Legal Operations: Oversee platform terms, acceptable use policies, privacy policies, and outside counsel relationships and spending.
What We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telecommunications regulations, including TCPA.
- Familiarity with healthcare‑related agreements and compliance, including BAAs.
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS, AI, or other technology companies.
