Job summary

Morris Communications Careers is seeking a customer-focused lawn care technician to fertilize and treat lawns, interact with customers, and promote additional services. This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and accurate handling of production tasks in a field-based setting.

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a valid license, and a pesticide license, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and pass a background check. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of turf care and identification of common weeds, insects and turf diseases.

• Use technology to complete production, customer forms, and notices.

• Use technology to complete production, new sales forms, customer forms, and cancel/skip notices.
• Be able to lift more than 50 pounds
• Pass a drug test and background check

The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, is interested in learning and growing, valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation to work and good attendance record. The right person would be passionate about communications through phone and email, would be willing to learn the Lawn Doctor lawn service features and benefits, and will get paid very well for utilizing their skills in this role.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
