Job summary

Stoel Rives LLP in Seattle or Portland seeks a Law Student Recruiting Manager to lead law student recruiting strategy and programs across ten offices, promoting consistency and best practices firmwide. The role collaborates with firm leadership and supervises one coordinator.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in law firm recruiting, strong relationships with law schools, and a track record managing summer programs.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of recruiting experience within a law firm, legal organization, or law school career services office

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the law student recruiting cycle, including campus outreach, resume collection, interviews, communications, offers, onboarding
• Develop and maintain relationships with law schools and career services professionals
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the firm's summer associate program including orientation, training, social events, evaluations, and assessments
• Attend summer associate events to ensure representation by recruiting team
• Facilitate hiring committee work, meetings, candidate evaluations, and timely decisions
• Partner with attorneys, office admins, and marketing, PD, inclusion, and HR to deliver effective recruiting and candidate experiences
• Supervise recruiting coordinator, set priorities, workflows, and development
• Analyze recruiting metrics, hiring trends, budget performance, and pipeline data to improve outcomes and efficiency
