Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a Launch Vehicle Software Engineer to join the flight software team for our solid propellant launch vehicles. You will define requirements, implement software for flight hardware, and contribute to hardware-in-the-loop testing and flight operations.

The role demands a strong background in embedded aerospace software, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with C/C++ and RTOS. Collaboration in a small team and the ability to turn high-level goals into detailed designs

Qualifications

• 10+ years of directly related aerospace software experience.
• Background in embedded software for aerospace applications.
• Bachelor's degree in software-related field required.

Responsibilities

• Define flight software requirements and modular architecture.
• Configure computing hardware and RTOS for flight environments.
• Implement software interfaces to sensors, actuators, radios and FPGAs.
• Develop and validate flight software and V&V methodologies.
• Support HWIL lab design and operations; assist integration and flight operations.
