Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and maintain schedules.
• Develop and mentor staff; train on policies and procedures.
• Carry out managerial duties including interviewing and hiring.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise staff per company policies and laws; manage performance and disputes.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Coordinate dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues.
• Identify route improvements to boost efficiency.
• Train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure timely completion of all work and proper photos for jobs.
