Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a skilled Metrology Specialist for the Manufacturing team to optimize Terran R production. You will work across processes to collect geometric data using laser trackers, Verisurf X, and CMMs, then analyze results to drive precision in large-scale fabrication.

You will interpret GD&T on blueprints, establish reference frames, and collaborate with engineering to refine tooling and workflows, ensuring safe and efficient production in our Long Beach facility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience working with laser trackers.
• Experience analyzing data and generating data reports.
• 8+ years of experience with Verisurf X.
• Familiarity with GD&T to interpret blueprints at all assembly levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection and analysis to guide fabrication steps.
• Integrate geometric data from laser trackers into model-based software.
• Establish reference systems for current tasks on parts and assemblies.
• Provide data-driven direction for subsequent manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with vehicle engineering to optimize production lines.
