Job summary

Associa is seeking a seasoned Senior Mitigation Project Manager to lead emergency response, stabilization, and disaster mitigation for large multifamily portfolios in Chicago. You will manage field operations, major insurance carrier relationships, and project profitability from start to finish.

You will direct on-site mitigation for water, fire, mold, and biohazard losses, write detailed scopes and estimates using Xactimate, and collaborate with property managers, executives, and vendors to

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading $1M+ large-loss restoration projects.
• Proficient with Xactimate and cloud-based field software.
• IICRC WRT and ASD certifications required.
• Experience managing field crews and disaster logistics.
• Valid driver's license; CAT response readiness.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site emergency mitigation, extraction, structural drying, and hazardous material containment for high-density multifamily structures.
• Develop budgets, monitor costs, maximize profitability.
• Write scopes of work and estimates using Xactimate.
• Coordinate with property managers, regional executives, insurance adjusters, and third-party consultants.
• Lead emergency response team and ensure safety compliance.
• Document logs, moisture mapping, and photo tracking.
