Job summary

National General, a part of The Allstate Corporation, seeks an experienced Large Loss Adjuster to manage high-severity claims with exposure well above standard limits. Ideal candidates have proven success in handling Bodily Injury, Auto, and Liability claims with substantial values.

Primary duties include reviewing trials, assessing coverage and damages, and coordinating with Field leadership to resolve complex cases while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policy.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high-severity claims with exposure beyond standard limits.
• Strong background in Bodily Injury, General Liability, and Auto-related losses.
• Ability to analyze coverage, liability and damages for complex cases and advocate for appropriate resolution.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves cases the MCO will take to trial.
• Assesses coverage, liability, and damages on the most complex cases.
• Acts as specialist on projects and shares expertise with teams as needed.
• Performs file reviews for highly complex matters and reports findings.
• Determines if CWP is appropriate given gross tort value exposure.
• Supports Field with discretionary referrals on complex coverage issues.
