Job summary

Central Park Conservancy is seeking a Manager of Landscape Management to lead a team responsible for Park landscapes within an assigned section. You will oversee plant health care, site maintenance, and seasonal improvements, reporting to the Director of Landscape Management.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years of management experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure safety, sustainability, and high-quality park upkeep.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of management and supervision experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Assistant Managers, Forepersons, Gardeners, and Groundskeepers.
• Plan, direct and coordinate departmental work within the Section.
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback.
• Collaborate with other Park Operations departments to meet goals.
• Develop annual budgets and monitor expenditures.
