Job summary

Steadfast Contractors Alliance in Land O' Lakes, FL, seeks a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to supervise landscape maintenance crews and perform installation and maintenance tasks alongside the crew in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

You will lead by example, ensure safety and quality, coordinate job-site operations, communicate with residents and managers, and build strong client relationships while delivering projects on time and to specification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of landscape maintenance-related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or crew leadership experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of landscape maintenance laborers.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Assign tasks and provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to crew members.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and job site cleanliness.
• Analyze and resolve job site issues and assist crew members in solving work-related challenges.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for residents, property managers, and customers.
• Communicates service needs, concerns, and project updates to management.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer experience at all times.
• Perform landscape maintenance and installation work alongside the crew.
• Install and remove plant material, sod, mulch, and landscape improvements.
• Operate landscape equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Complete assigned service requests and maintenance tasks.
• Enforce company safety policies and proper use of PPE.
• Conduct daily safety awareness and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety requirements.
