Job summary

Warner’s Outdoor Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Softscape Foreman to lead our growing team across the Twin Cities Metro area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-end landscape projects and a proven ability to manage a crew on varied softscape installations.

You will install edging, mulch, sod, drainage, and grading while operating a range of machinery. Valid license required; MN-DOT health certificate may be needed for company vehicle use.

Qualifications

• Experience installing edging, fabric, mulch, rock, sod, seed, drainage, and grading in softscape projects.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to obtain MN-DOT health certificate to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install edging, fabric, mulch, rock, sod, seed, drainage, and grading as part of softscape projects.
• Operate a variety of machinery; perform hands-on, physical work.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and ensure crew safety.
• Lead and mentor a crew to complete projects on time and to spec.
• Identify and care for flowers and plants; proper plant identification.
• Operate skid steers, trucks/trailers, and power equipment.
• Support and coach team members to improve performance.

Warner’s Outdoor Solutions is a locally owned and operated full-scale landscape company that has established itself as a leader within the industry.

Roles and responsibilities

• Softscape Foreman experience installing edging, fabric, mulch, rock, sod, seed, drainage, grading and other aspects of softscapes
• Hands on, physical work, and operating a variety of machinery
• Ensure the proper care and safety operations of equipment at all times
• Ability to lead and work effectively on a crew
• Awareness of flowers/plants, proper care and identification
• Ability to operate a skid, trucks/trailers, and power equipment
• Willing and able to manage, encourage and teach a team

Position Type

Full-time, with paid over time

• YEAR ROUND WORK
• $30-$35/hour based on experience. Projected earnings start in the $75,000 – $100,000 range.
