Job summary

TYG Landscape Architecture in Patchogue, NY is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to join a well-established, multidisciplinary design practice. You’ll gain greater ownership of projects and exposure to the full design process, from concept through construction documentation, across public and community-focused spaces on Long Island and New York.

The role emphasizes collaboration with in-house Landscape Architects, Architects and Engineers, mentorship of junior designers, and

Qualifications

Background in Landscape Architecture with a balance of design and technical delivery experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp or similar 3D software valuable.
Experience across public realm, education, municipal, parks or recreation projects.
Ability to take projects through full lifecycle and coordinate with internal teams.
Willingness to work with clients and mentor junior designers.

Responsibilities

Develop concepts and coordinate technical design.
Produce construction documentation for projects.
Collaborate with in-house Landscape Architects, Architects and Engineers.
Take greater project responsibility and ownership as you develop within the practice.
