AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect in Austin, TX to lead project design development and manage mid-scale assignments with an emphasis on quality and collaboration. You will guide junior staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive integrated project outcomes.

The role requires licensure in Texas, a strong design and documentation background, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture; MLA preferred.
• Typically seven years of experience post-Bachelor's, or six years post-Master's; most incumbents have eight to ten years of professional experience.
• Current registration as a Licensed Landscape Architect in Texas (required).

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and oversees the landscape architectural components of reports, designs, and construction projects.
• Leads the development of final plans and specifications and reviews materials and construction for compliance with project requirements.
• Is a self-starter and capable of working independently and as a team.
• Contributes to the preparation of proposals, scopes of work, contracts, and budgets.
• Supports quality control efforts related to landscape design, graphics, and technical deliverables.
• Prepares site design concepts for a range of clients, including municipal agencies, government entities, and commissions.
• Coordinates work with landscape architects, allied professionals, and internal support teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Participates in design-focused quality assurance reviews.
• Manages projects independently and ensures adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinates with existing and potential clients to assist in business development.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture

MLA or related graduate-level coursework preferred
