Job summary

AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Architect to join our Austin team. You will lead architectural efforts across multiple project phases, coordinate with engineers and clients, and ensure documentation quality using BIM/Revit and AutoCAD.

You will mentor junior staff, manage budgets and schedules, and help drive the low‑carbon transition through design excellence. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture is required.
• Registered Architect preferred or candidate in ARE with 1–2 exams remaining is preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience across all phases of architectural drafting and coordination with consultants and internal teams.
• Expertise in BIM/Revit and AutoCAD; Enscape or Lumion renderings software preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability certifications (LEED) is preferred.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural teams and coordinate with senior management.
• Make design and technical decisions in a collaborative environment.
• Develop design production through all project phases, including Revit documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure QA/QC and coordination of drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage BIM models and ensure documentation standards are met.
• Perform site observations and field investigations when required.
• Communicate project progress and manage budgets and schedules.
