Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture; MLA preferred; typically seven years post-Bachelor’s, or six years post-Master’s; eight to ten years most incumbents have.
• Demonstrated technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Current registration as a Licensed Landscape Architect in Texas (required).

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and oversees the landscape architectural components of reports, designs, and construction projects.
• Leads the development of final plans and specifications and reviews materials and construction for compliance with project requirements.
• Is a self-starter and capable of working independently and as a team.
• Contributes to the preparation of proposals, scopes of work, contracts, and budgets.
• Supports quality control efforts related to landscape design, graphics, and technical deliverables.
• Prepares site design concepts for a range of clients, including municipal agencies and government entities.
• Coordinates work with landscape architects and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Participates in design-focused quality assurance reviews.
• Manages projects independently and ensures adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinates with clients to assist in business development.
