Thomas Young Group, a dynamic Charlotte design firm, seeks a Landscape Architect with 5+ years of landscape architecture experience. You will design site and planting plans, prepare construction documents, and collaborate with engineers, planners, and designers on diverse public and private projects.

You will present concepts to clients, contribute across project phases, and mentor junior staff within a collaborative, growth‑oriented team that values sustainability and design excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in landscape architecture.
• Proven experience in developing site design plans, planting plans, and construction documentation.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of public and private sector projects, from conceptual design through to construction.
• Develop site and planting plans, construction documentation, and technical details.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other designers to create integrated solutions.
• Present ideas to clients and stakeholders, contributing to all phases of project development.
• Support senior leadership in design execution and provide mentorship to junior staff.
