Job summary

CME Associates is seeking a Landscape Architect to join the HMB team, with opportunities to work from the Lexington or Louisville offices. The position requires leadership in environmentally-conscious design for parks, public spaces, and commercial properties, and collaboration with clients and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Licensed Landscape Architect in Kentucky or eligible for reciprocity of license in Kentucky.
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience in landscape architecture, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in creating compelling and environmentally-conscious designs for parks, public spaces, and commercial properties.
• Develop concept plans, design drawings, and presentations communicating design intent to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
• Oversee all phases of projects from conception to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines to meet project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures as needed.
