Carex Design Group in Knoxville, TN seeks a Senior Landscape Architect/Designer with 5+ years in landscape architecture to lead client engagements, concept development, and project documentation for high-end outdoor spaces.

The role emphasizes design leadership, sales-oriented responsibilities, and collaboration with a small firm culture that values autonomy, growth, and community impact. In-person work is required in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Formación

• Education: Landscape Architecture degree (BLA/BSLA/MLA).
• Licensure: PLA license or on track for L.A.R.E. or equivalent certification.
• Technical: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar 3-D modeling, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS.
• STEAM & analytical: Site analysis, grading, environmental concepts integrated with design.
• Communication: Outstanding visual communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead client consultations to understand goals, vision and requirements.
• Prepare and present proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
• Collaborate with clients, principals, consultants and vendors through design.
• Gather site data, assess conditions, drainage, soils and sun exposure.
• Develop designs, site plans, planting plans and related solutions.
• Prepare construction drawings, specs and schedules; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Manage design budgets and project schedules.
