Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• 5-8 years of professional experience as a Landscape Architect including planning and design of communities, parks, streetscapes, and other project types.
• Registration as a Landscape Architect is required.
• Ability to lead presentations in both public and private settings; experience with design review/entitlement processes is highly desired.
• Experience with industry software applications (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Design Suite, and Microsoft Office).
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work as part of a team.
• Some travel will be required to undertake job duties; travel may be planned or on an immediate basis.

Responsibilities

• Master planning through detailed design activities as both a project manager and project contributor.
• Mentoring and technical oversight of junior and mid-level staff.
• Business development activities including networking, proposals, interviewing, and negotiating fees.
• Preparation/review of deliverables including reports, cost estimates, renderings, plans and specifications.
• Miscellaneous tasks to assist the project team.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Serves on committees and teams as requested by management.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
