Adamas Energy LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Landman to expand our asset base and protect leasehold interests. You’ll lead strategic and executional land activities in a dynamic E&P environment, collaborating with engineering, legal, and operations to drive efficient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years of land experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and CPL is a plus. We offer a hybrid schedule, competitive benefits, and a supportive, collaborative team.

• AAPL CPL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate oil & gas leases with mineral owners.
• Evaluate acreage and develop lease offers.
• Review title, cure defects, and ensure compliance with drilling obligations.
• Draft and negotiate farm-in/farm-out agreements and JOAs.
• Manage leasehold, rental, and unit commitments.
• Serve as primary contact for landowners and regulators.
• Mentor junior land staff and contribute to team development.

Job description

Adamas Energy LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Landman to play a critical role in expanding our asset base and protecting existing leasehold interests. This position is ideal for a seasoned land professional who thrives in a fast-paced E\&P environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to drive results.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Landman, you’ll be responsible for both strategic and executional land functions, including:

• Negotiating oil & gas leases with mineral owners
• Evaluating acreage and developing competitive lease offers
• Reviewing title and curing defects ahead of drilling
• Analyzing lease terms and ensuring compliance with drilling obligations
• Drafting and negotiating agreements (farm-in/farm-out, JOAs, etc.)
• Managing leasehold, rental, and unit commitments
• Serving as the primary point of contact for landowners and regulatory agencies
• Mentoring junior land staff and contributing to team development
• Partnering with engineering, legal, and operations to drive efficient outcomes

What You Bring

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree (Petroleum Land Management, Energy Commerce, or related field preferred)
• 7–10+ years of Landman experience with an in-house E\&P operator
• AAPL Certified Professional Landman (CPL) preferred

Technical Expertise

• Strong working knowledge of state and federal oil & gas regulations
• Proven experience in title review, lease analysis, and contract negotiation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Advanced analytical and research skills

• Ability to manage complex workstreams with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
