Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Senior Systems Verification & Certification Engineer to support a Landing Gear Program in South Burlington, VT. You will verify landing gear systems, review supplier deliverables, and ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements.

The ideal candidate has extensive aerospace verification/qualification experience, strong collaboration skills with suppliers, and the ability to independently review verification evidence and certification material.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of aerospace engineering experience.
• Strong experience in aircraft systems verification, qualification, or certification.
• Experience reviewing verification deliverables from third-party suppliers.
• Experience with requirements management and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Review and update landing gear system specifications and requirements.
• Review requirements from third-party landing gear suppliers.
• Manage requirements and end-to-end traceability.
• Review changes and assess impact on verification evidence.
• Support verification of safe-landing requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams; track actions.
