Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Senior Systems Verification & Certification Engineer to support a Landing Gear Program in Vermont. You will review requirements, verification plans, and supplier deliverables to ensure compliant system performance.

The ideal candidate has extensive aerospace experience, strong traceability skills, and the ability to coordinate with third-party suppliers and internal teams to close gaps.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of aerospace engineering experience.
• Onsite work in South Burlington, VT.
• Experience with verification, qualification, or certification.
• Experience reviewing third-party supplier deliverables.
• Proficient with requirements management and traceability.
• Experience with DOORS, Jama, Polarion or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and update landing gear system specs and requirements.
• Manage requirements and end-to-end traceability.
• Review changes and assess impact on verification evidence.
• Support verification of safe-landing requirements.
• Review verification/validation plans and supplier test data.
• Analyze qualification and certification evidence.
• Identify gaps in verification and compliance.
• Coordinate with third-party landing gear suppliers and internal teams.
