ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Senior Systems Verification & Certification Engineer to support a Landing Gear Program. The role involves reviewing and updating landing gear specifications, managing requirements, and coordinating with third‑party suppliers to verify safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has extensive aerospace experience in verification, qualification, or certification, with direct landing gear knowledge and strong traceability skills.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of relevant aerospace engineering experience.
• Strong experience in aircraft systems engineering, verification, qualification, or certification.
• Direct experience with landing gear systems preferred.
• Experience reviewing technical and verification deliverables produced by third‑party aerospace suppliers.
• Experience with requirements management and traceability.
• Experience reviewing verification plans, qualification test procedures, test results, and test reports.
• Experience identifying verification and compliance gaps.
• Experience preparing or reviewing certification and means‑of‑compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review and update landing gear system specifications and requirements.
• Review requirements for landing gear systems from third‑party suppliers.
• Maintain end‑to‑end traceability of requirements.
• Assess impact of requirement changes on system and verification evidence.
• Support verification of safe‑landing requirements.
• Review verification and validation plans and supplier test materials.
• Analyze qualification and certification evidence for gaps.
• Prepare verification plans, compliance reports, and certification deliverables.
• Coordinate with third‑party suppliers and internal teams.
• Track open verification actions and support resolution.
• Support certification readiness for the Landing Gear Program.
