Job summary

Van Ness Feldman is seeking a land use attorney with at least seven years of relevant experience in land use, environmental, or municipal law to join our Environmental, Land Use, Natural Resources, and Real Estate team in Seattle.

The successful candidate will advise on permitting, entitlement defense, and strategic counseling for energy, public utility, municipal, commercial, and residential matters, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and policy professionals.

Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission or eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of land use, environmental, or municipal law experience.

Responsibilities

• Land use litigation and due diligence.
• Securing and defending land use entitlements.
• Provide strategic land use counsel to clients in energy, public utility, municipal, commercial, and residential sectors.
• Collaborate with senior team and professionals across disciplines.
