The role emphasizes document preparation, due diligence, and collaboration with brokers and attorneys to ensure timely, accurate land records and effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of applicable land experience.
• Minimum high school diploma; associate or higher college degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas land agreements, including leases, JOAs, pooling declarations, and related documents.
• Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with land brokers, title attorneys, and land administration teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate the execution of proposal letters, JOAs, pooling declarations, assignments, leases, and other land-related documents.
• Serve as a resource regarding document accuracy and processing requirements.
• Track status of land efforts and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with land brokers and title attorneys for lease acquisition and title processing.
• Submit and track documents with county courthouses for recordation.
• Support due diligence activities for land transactions (leases, divestitures, trades).
• Review land records for accuracy and identify title/curative issues.
• Participate in development team meetings and provide land status updates.
