A leading energy company based in Houston is seeking a Staff Title Analyst to support their geophysical team by managing essential land title work to achieve exploration and production objectives. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience, strong skills in lease and contract management, and proficiency in using land-related applications. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, while a high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
Qualifications
7+ years' experience in land/title-related functions with advanced skill in lease, contract, and division order maintenance.
Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required.
Ability to multi-task and utilize various land related computer applications.
Responsibilities
Set-up and maintain oil and gas leases.
Monitor lease calendar for delay rentals, lease extensions, minimum royalties.
Transfer leased acreage to producing based on plats.
Review and set-up contracts, including assignments and joint operating agreements.
Build joint interest billing decks based on division order title opinions.
Perform well record maintenance.
Communicate with interest owners for title curative and ownership changes.
