Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and executing land surveying projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations while meeting client needs. You will have the option to grow into manager/director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage land surveying projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and construction layout surveys.
• Prepare and review plats, drawings, and other surveying documents using AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and field crews in surveying techniques and best practices.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and proposals to ensure project success.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Utilize Trimble equipment for precise data collection and analysis in the field.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding land surveying.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the relevant state.
• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on fieldwork and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Trimble surveying equipment.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, practices, and legal boundaries (Metes and Bounds).
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
