Job summary

NexGen Land Solutions in Orlando, FL is seeking a licensed Florida PLS to take ownership of survey quality, mentor a growing team, and serve as the technical backbone behind deliverables.

This senior role requires stamping, boundary/topographic work, QA reviews, and strong client communication with title agents and engineers; remote-first with scheduling flexibility and opportunities to lead.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Professional Land Surveyor license is required.
• Solid command of Florida survey law and practical experience across boundary, mortgage, and topo work.
• Comfortable reviewing CAD-drafted documents and field notes for accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

• Stamp, seal, and take professional responsibility for boundary, mortgage, topographic, and construction surveys.
• QA and review all survey deliverables produced by field crews and drafters before they go to clients.
• Communicate directly with title agents, real estate attorneys, engineers, and developers in the Orlando market.
• Ensure all work complies with Florida Statutes Chapter 472 and applicable administrative codes.
• Mentor Surveyors in Training (SITs) and junior drafters, reviewing their work and supporting licensure.
• Identify and flag project scope issues, legal description discrepancies, or field data problems before they become client problems.
