Job summary

Haley Ward, Inc. is hiring a Land Surveyor / Project Manager in Stuart, FL. The role plans, organizes, and coordinates projects, leading a team within policy guidelines and ensuring successful completion.

The candidate should have a minimum of ten years in surveying, a bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering (or equivalent), and Florida PSM registration or ability to obtain within six months. Valid driver’s license required. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of surveying experience.
• A working knowledge of modern survey techniques, and computer programs is required.
• Registration as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in Florida, or ability to attain within 6 months, is required.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Directs others toward preparation of a professional, economical, and effective product for each project.
• Manages a project team and multiple projects.
• Manages contract budgets and estimates to completion and updates as conditions change; communicates scope changes with clients and secures approvals.
• Prepares project proposals including scope of work, time, and manpower.
• Mentors and supervises junior staff and fosters business development throughout the organization.
• Seeks new work and cross-sells services across divisions.
