Job summary

RTM Engineering Consultants in Southern California seeks a highly experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead and manage the Surveying and Mapping Department. The role combines strong technical surveying with leadership, project management, and business development.

You will oversee projects from small site developments to large tract master plans, driving quality and growth across the firm.

Qualifications

• California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required.
• 10 years of land surveying experience with emphasis on boundary, topographic, and construction surveying in Southern California.
• 5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Responsibilities

• Technical Surveying & Project Execution, including boundary surveys, mapping and certification, construction surveying and data analysis.
