raSmith is hiring a Land Survey Project Manager-Crew Chief to lead field crews and oversee surveying and construction staking projects from design to delivery. This role requires驾 experience in land surveying, California licensing, and strong knowledge of survey laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying is required.
• CA land survey license or ability to obtain CA license within 6 months is required.
• Experience in land surveying and construction staking is essential.
• Knowledge of California survey laws and methodology.

Responsibilities

• Hire and supervise field surveyors.
• Manage and schedule surveying and construction staking projects.
• Provide professional analysis of survey projects and construction layout.
• Develop and maintain marketing opportunities and procure estimates.
• Prepare contracts, change orders, and analyze title documents.
• Perform survey plan design and drafting using AutoCAD Civil3D per raSmith standards.
• Carry out field survey duties including data collection and boundary work as needed.
• Develop, draft, QC, and stamp survey deliverables (ALTA/NSPS, boundary, TPM, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
