Volta is seeking a motivated Senior Land Agent to support land acquisition and right-of-way activities for energy and infrastructure projects across North America. You will negotiate leases, easements, and land rights with landowners and stakeholders, coordinating with project teams to meet timelines.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, builds strong relationships, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in land acquisition, right-of-way, real estate, or contract negotiations preferred.
• Experience in renewable energy, oil and gas, transmission, pipelines, or BESS projects is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites, including weekly travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Identify, research, and evaluate land acquisition and right-of-way opportunities for energy and infrastructure projects.
• Engage with landowners and stakeholders to negotiate and secure leases, easements, rights-of-way, and other land agreements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners, clients, and community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal project teams to support project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintain accurate records of landowner communications, negotiations, agreements, and project activities.
• Identify and proactively address land-related challenges to support efficient project execution.
• Ensure activities align with applicable regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
