Job summary

Tallgrass seeks an experienced land professional in Ohio to lead acquisition, maintenance, and disposition of real property rights for pipelines and facilities. You will coordinate land rights, easements, leases, and permits in support of multi-unit projects.

The role requires strong negotiation, regulatory knowledge, and ability to manage external contractors and stakeholders. You will work with cross-functional teams to progress due diligence and route/site planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years of equivalent land experience in energy.
• Direct experience with land acquisition, title, easements, and land rights management.
• Knowledge of land-related regulatory requirements and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise acquisition, maintenance, and disposition of real property rights.
• Support pipeline and facility project activities including route/site planning and permitting.
• Manage third-party land agents and civil survey services.
• Engage with stakeholders and participate in public meetings and hearings.
• Support counsel in eminent domain and litigation when needed.
