Job summary

J2 is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead the development of design and technical documents through all project phases in the United States. You will prepare rezoning applications, preliminary and site plans, and manage storm drainage, water, and sanitary sewer design, ensuring compliance with local standards.

You will QA/QC your work and mentor junior staff, using Civil 3D or AutoCAD (Carlson) to create technical documents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in planning, design, and management of civil engineering projects.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of design and technical documents through all project phases.
• Prepare and develop design elements including rezoning, preliminary plans, and site and subdivision plans.
• Design open/closed storm drainage, water, and sanitary sewer systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
