Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. in East Peoria, IL is seeking a full-time Senior LAN Network Engineer to join our team. You will support a broad range of LAN solutions, collaborating with the LAN group and other technical teams across Americas locations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing LAN issues, supporting development efforts, and participating in on-call rotation. A BS/BE with 5–7 years of experience or 8+ years without a degree is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Degree requirement with 5–7 years in Network Engineering OR 8+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on LAN implementation and support experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, and switching.
• Experience with Cisco switches and equipment; team-oriented collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN issues, replacing defective components.
• Support LAN development and infrastructure projects for business partners and vendors.
• Provide off-shift support on-call for critical incidents and weekends.
• Collaborate with LAN and other technical teams to plan changes (firewall, VPN, NAC).
• Design and implement processes and process improvements; follow ITSM changes.
• Advise partners on technical questions in the LAN space.
