Catholic Health is seeking a Lactation Consultant (RN, NP, or PA) to support breastfeeding patients and families at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. You will work within nursing and medical teams to promote safe infant feeding and mother’s milk supply.

Requirements include NY RN/NP/PA licensure, BSN (ASN acceptable if pursuing BSN), IBCLC, BLS, NRP, and 5+ years clinical experience with 2+ years in management preferred.

Formación

• Active New York RN, NP, or PA licensure.
• BSN required; ASN acceptable if pursuing BSN.
• Minimum 5+ years clinical experience.
• 2+ years management experience preferred.
• IBCLC certification required.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide lactation support to patients and families.
• Assess, plan, intervene, educate, and evaluate lactation care postpartum.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to build care plans.
• Lead breastfeeding education and support groups post-discharge.
