Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on laboratory experience (roughly 2–5 years).
• Ability to perform established laboratory procedures independently, accurately, and reliably.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian or human cell culture and sterile technique.
• Experience with PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, DNA preparation, RNA preparation, or related methods.
• Ability to follow written protocols and established procedures.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot routine laboratory problems and seek guidance when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to reproducible work.
• Good documentation, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in a dynamic research environment.
• Willingness to learn new laboratory techniques and contribute across activities.

Responsabilités

• Learn and independently perform established laboratory assays and protocols following defined procedures and documentation requirements.
• Perform routine and moderately complex laboratory procedures accurately and consistently with limited day-to-day supervision.
• Maintain and culture human and mammalian cells using sterile and aseptic techniques.
• Prepare samples, reagents, buffers, media, standards, and other materials for assays.
• Perform molecular and cellular biology techniques such as PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, DNA/RNA preparation.
• Operate standard laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Recognize unexpected results or deviations and communicate issues promptly to the scientist or supervisor.
• Document experimental procedures, observations, results, and sample information.
• Assist with implementation and routine execution of new procedures after development.
• Maintain organized lab areas, samples, reagents, supplies, and equipment.
• Follow safety, biosafety, quality, and waste-disposal procedures.
• Assist with training less-experienced personnel as needed.
• Collaborate with scientists and multidisciplinary team members.
• Learn new laboratory techniques as research needs evolve.
