Job summary

ClinLab Solutions Group seeks a detail-oriented Laboratory Stock & Facilities Associate to keep the lab stocked, organized, and running so the scientific team can focus on executing studies. Reliability, attention to detail, and a sense of ownership over the physical space matter more here than prior research experience.

This position supports the company’s entire scientific team and interacts with all departments, so good communication and teamwork skills are important.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.S.) + 2 years of experience in cell culture laboratory environment.
• Experience with aseptic techniques in BSL-2 environment required.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort with repetitive, detail-oriented work.
• Prior experience in a laboratory, stockroom, warehouse, or receiving environment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with inventory or ordering systems is a plus.
• Experience in tissue culture techniques and cell culture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining general laboratory cleanliness and order, including benches, sinks, common areas, and surface decontamination
• Washing, sterilizing, and returning glassware and labware; running and logging autoclave cycles
• Restocking consumables at benches, workstations, and storage areas to established stock levels
• Organizing and maintaining laboratory storage, including refrigerators, freezers, and shelving; labeling and rotating stock and removing expired materials
• Receiving incoming deliveries: unpacking, verifying against packing slips, logging into the inventory system, and putting away promptly, prioritizing cold-chain and temperature-sensitive items
• Reporting low stock, discrepancies, damaged shipments, and backorders to the Operations and Shipping Coordinator
• Performing routine upkeep of shared equipment, including cleaning and filling water baths, emptying waste vessels, and troubleshooting mission-critical equipment problems
• Cleaning and preparing tissue culture and laboratory workspaces for use
• Assisting with periodic laboratory organization projects, inventory counts, and reorganization efforts
• Following established SOPs and safety procedures and completing all required safety and compliance training
• Attending and contributing to team meetings
