Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences or Medical Technology.
• Minimum 3 years laboratory experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation procedures, including dilutions and extractions.
• Proficient in analysis and capable of training others.
• Perform testing.
• Advanced Analyst Data Review following SOP.
• Advanced LIMS knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot IT issues.
• Reporting includes calculations producing accurate test results, documentation and evaluation of QC data, chain of custody, review, certification and release of final test results.
• Set up testing instrumentation and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Procure and maintain test equipment and method/extraction troubleshooting.
• Create SOP documents as assigned.
• Train new employees on methods and techniques.
• Ensure safety rules and PPE procedures are followed.
• Order supplies according to inventory control.
• Manage workflow and Turnaround Time for routine analyses.
• Participate in quality control activities and review final reports.
• Troubleshoot QC failures and train staff on corrections.
• Conform with SOPs and regulations.
