Job summary

HED is seeking a Senior Laboratory Planner to lead programming and planning across medium to large laboratory projects. You will work with architects, planners, designers, and engineers to develop STEM teaching labs, life sciences labs, engineering spaces, cleanrooms, vivaria, and related support areas.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in architecture, 10+ years’ experience, and strong coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
Minimum ten years of experience in similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office and Autodesk Revit.
LEED AP or LEED Accredited Professional preferred.
Licensed or license-track candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead laboratory planning for medium- to large-scale projects as part of an integrated team of architects, planners, designers, and engineers.
Advise project teams across offices/market sectors with programming and planning expertise for STEM teaching labs, life/physical sciences, engineering, and related spaces.
Develop and document code research for laboratory portions in coordination with Technical Architect and Design Leader.
Collaborate with other disciplines or outside consultants to support project workflows.
Attend project meetings and contribute to presentations and pursuit materials.
