Job summary

The Employee Connect seeks a Senior Manager of Laboratory Services to oversee clinical laboratory operations at a patient care facility in DeLand, FL. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field with certification.
• MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certification required.
• 5+ years clinical lab experience with 2+ years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and accreditation requirements.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical laboratory operations, staffing, workflow, and quality oversight.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate laboratory staff including technologists and support personnel.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Oversee quality management programs including proficiency testing, QC, and corrective actions.
• Manage laboratory budget including reagents, equipment maintenance, and labor utilization.
• Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and administrative teams to optimize turnaround times.
• Lead or support accreditation activities and process improvements.
