Job summary

QPS, LLC in Newark, Delaware, seeks a Real-Time Laboratory Technician as part of the Laboratory & Compliance Management (LCM) within Translational Medicine. You will monitor environmental and equipment alarms, keep labs and devices clean and functional, and coordinate with support teams to address maintenance and qualification needs.

This role supports daily operations, manages reagents inventory, and helps with future lab planning.

Qualifications

• Combination of relevant education & experience that provides sufficient knowledge & skills to ensure incumbent’s success in this role.
• University/College Degree in relevant Scientific discipline, and/or
• Demonstrated experience in CRO, Clinical Research, or other relevant field.
• Experience in a Regulated industry laboratory preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental and equipment alarms.
• Keep laboratories and devices clean, operational and presentable.
• Interact with support teams to address maintenance and qualification needs.
• Provide input to management on future needs for lab functions.
• Maintain inventory of reagents and consumables.
• May assist in review of lab logbooks to ensure entries are accurate and report any issues to Lab Floor Supervisor for corrections.
• Monitor the LCM docket for incoming requests for facility needs in real time.
• After discussion with Supervisor, address tasks from the LCM docket prioritization.
• Promptly address additional facility tasks to maintain office and laboratory expansion and maintenance.
