Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP is expanding its team in Maui. The Laboratory Assistant Senior will ensure specimens are properly processed, routed, and stored, while maintaining strict safety, quality control, and PHI confidentiality.

The role supports junior staff and participates in daily lab operations at Maui Memorial Medical Center. We seek candidates with a High School diploma, basic lab experience, and strong reading/writing and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and reports with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare specimens, ensuring proper routing, handling, and storage.
• Identify when corrective actions are needed and implement fixes.
• Operate standard laboratory equipment such as centrifuges and analyzers.
• Maintain safety, quality control, and PHI confidentiality at all times.
