Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Senior Labor Relations Specialist to join the Labor Relations team in Idaho Falls. The role involves leading bargaining negotiations, grievance handling, contract interpretation, and dispute resolution.

You will develop relations with union representatives and management, provide policy guidance, and oversee arbitration preparation. Must have strong interpersonal and written communication skills, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with collective bargaining agreements, NLRA, Davis-Bacon Act, LAB apprenticeship programs, and FLSA.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to interact with union and all levels of management.
• Ability to work independently and in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead collective bargaining negotiations including grievance handling and contract interpretation.
• Conduct grievance investigations and prepare responses; assist arbitration proceedings.
• Maintain relationships with union representatives and management to build consensus.
