Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Senior Labor Processing & RPA Analyst in Philadelphia, PA to ensure accurate and timely labor transactions, payroll processing, and automated workflows. You will monitor VMS time processing, manage end-to-end labor entries, and collaborate with Payroll, Finance, IT, and vendors to resolve issues and improve process efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in labor processing and automation, strong Excel and SAP/VMS knowledge, and a commitment to data integrity

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive experience in labor processing, payroll and timekeeping systems.
• Experience with VMS support and robotic process automation (RPA) or automated workflows.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously develop in labor processing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 operational support by monitoring VMS time processing and RPA workflows; act as first contact for inquiries.
• Manage end-to-end processing of labor transactions, including weekly time entry files and adjustments with proper coding.
• Investigate and address exceptions (missing, rejected, duplicated labor records) and coordinate corrections.
• Conduct reconciliations, validations, and quality checks of labor transactions and automation outputs.
• Escalate complex automation issues to Tier 2 and IT/development teams with impact analyses.
• Support compliance, documentation, testing, audits, and onboarding tied to labor processing and automation workflows.
