Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Five or more years of civil litigation experience.
• Three or more years of employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling court appearances and oral argument.

Responsibilities

• Represent the City in employment litigation and administrative matters and manage all stages of cases from intake to appeal.
• Handle discovery, motions, negotiations, settlements, and trial strategy.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, investigators and colleagues to manage multiple matters.
